🌮 About Paper Tacos

We’re a small but mighty greeting-card brand rooted in Mexican culture. Our cards mix nostalgia, Spanglish, and that “my tía would totally say that” energy. Now we’re bringing that vibe to TikTok Live Shop and we need someone who can make people laugh, feel seen, and say, “I feel like we could be best friends.”

🎤 The Role

You’ll be the on-camera face of Paper Tacos, hosting TikTok Lives twice a week from our Salinas studio. Think of it as hanging out with friends, showing off our cards, chismeando a little, and sharing stories about Mexican life, music, and traditions while helping viewers find the perfect card for their mom, BFF, or amiga.

This role blends storytelling + sales + culture. You’ll hype products, drop jokes, play all the right songs, and make people smile (and buy cards 😎).

🌯 Responsibilities

• Set up and host TikTok Live streams (2× per week).
• Prep each session with products, music & topics that connect with our culture & current trends.
• Engage viewers in both English and Spanish (Spanglish welcome 🙌).
• Be funny, relatable, and authentic — share stories like you’re talking to a friend.
• Use humor with a touch of sarcasm and a lot of heart ❤️ (business vibes still apply).
• Stay up to date on Mexican-American culture, music, and trends.
• Collaborate with our team to track performance (followers & sales).

🧠 You Might Be Perfect If…

• You’re bilingual (English + Spanish) and switch between them naturally.
• You have a deep appreciation for all forms of Mexican humor.
• You know your way around TikTok Live & Shop, and understand trends and sounds.
• You’re comfortable on camera and connect with people easily.
• You show up on time, keep it real, and represent the culture with respect & authenticity.

💸 Compensation

• $20–25 per hour (1 hr prep + 2 hr live time)
• 2% commission on sales from your lives
• +$50 for every 1,000 new followers gained
• 3% bonus on sales past targets
